Asia -Bangkok

Thailand was great. The only problem we had there was that it was amazingly hot. We thought we might run into some problem since America was at war with Iran when we ousted Saddam, and there was alot of anti-American sentiment. But we actually ran into no problems besides the heat, which was enough. It was amazingly hot, most places we took an air conditioned bus to and as soon as everyone got on the bus after every stop there were asleep from the heat. You sweat left and right, at night it cooled down to a nice 85 degrees, needless to say it was just hot there. Had a great time though, absolutely fabulous food, they had tons of seafood, I got a huge plate of crab, shrimp, oysters, and other seafood for $2-3, how can ya beat that. We also met a new friend on the trip, which we went out drinkin with on day 3. Thailand was a great country and I would definitely go back, it was a blast and dirt cheap. Well the first two pictures are just nice sunsets, but click on the other pictures to see what we did that day, and all the nice pictures.

This was taken from our hotel room and is a very nice picture. It's the sunset over Bangkok, beautiful...

Another Sunset from our hotel room, not as nice as the first but still a great picture, very nice.
This was our first day in Bangkok. We went to the temple of the emerald Buddha, along with some other temples.

This was our third day in Bangkok. Our second day was spent sleeping since we were tired. We went to the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya. We also went to the King's Summer Palace. We then went drinking with someone we met from English. An extremely nice guy we had a great time hanging out with.

This was our 4th and final day in Thailand. On this day we went to the famous floating market, also saw some traditional dancing and Muay Thai boxing at the Rose Garden. Then we went to the Temple of the Dawn. On the way to the Rose Garden we also saw the Prapatomechedi Temple.
